Σύμφωνα με δημοσίευμα της εφημερίδα Goal News συφωνήθηκε οτι για αυτή τη σεζόν απο τη Superleague θα υποβιβαστούν απευθείας δύο ομάδες και απο την Football League θα ανέβουν απευθείας δύο ομάδες, ενω ο 16ος της Superleague θα παίξει αγώνα μπαράζ με τον τρίτο της βαθμολογίας της Football League.
